GLASGOW ART FAIR

Thanks to everyone who visited me at Reveal Art Fair 2023 in Glasgow, in May… especially those who stopped to chat and bought my work and shared why a certain painting had an immediate connection with them.

i have been drawing and painting at the Barmouth beach, near Castlerock for the last four years… a favourite place to sketch with curlews and gulls on the shoreline, wind in the dunes, bleached stretches of water overhung with a changing dominant sky and the salty seaweed smells at low tide.

 

Some other things you might like to know…

I had a joint exhibition this year at The Blackheath Pottery Gallery , Coleraine with potter Babs Belshaw.
My paintings can also be bought in The Yard Gallery in Holywood, Belfast, Gallery 1608 in Bushmills and Castlerock Collective.
I show my work at Belfast Love Your Home Art village and I exhibit with Art Source, the top Dublin Art Fair at the RDS, Dublin, in November … an amazing experience for me.. I have previously exhibited my work at The Talented Art Fair in Truman Brewery, in London in March 2020
I was a wildcard on Sky Arts Landscape Artist of The Year 2021, and 2022,
and enjoyed having a chat about colour with the brilliant painter and judge Tai Shan Schierenberg, (below).
