A soft pastel sketch made on paper. This drawing study was made en plein air on a trip to Donegal. I know this landscape so well having spent many summer holidays here as a child.  There is a mood to the place, a rough wildness, sweeping beaches with narrow roads down to the shore… so much sky and a beautiful softness of colour. The paper size is A3. unframed.
